A summer rain shower on a tree canopy (sycamore). Recorded in the grounds of St Patrick's College, Maynooth.
Recorded using a pair of Sennheiser MKH8040s in ORTF (Cinela Albert). A towel was held above the Cinela to prevent drips directly hitting the blimp. Recorded at 192kHz. Loops smoothly so can be extended by simply copying and pasting.
Gentle low-frequency roll-off applied below 200 Hz to remove the sound of distant traffic.
