Acoustic guitar, Drop-D tuning, recorded at end of unfinished tunnel in Stumphouse Mountain, Oconee County South Carolina. Listen for the water drops.
Tunnel is cut in granite. The mountain may have defeated the railroad butleft an incredible echo chamber, a 13 foot high, 12 foot wide natural reverb hall 1600 feet long!
Core Sound omni mini-mics, Sony RZ90 as preamp, Fostex FR2-LE. Apologies for the high noise floor. I plan to goback and record more with the NT4, other mics.

Studios pay hundreds for convolution reverb software but nothing can match the beauty of natural reverb. Very nice.
