Fragment of algorithmically generated music that me and two of my colleagues made for a the video game called Puckr (video here, although the music featured in the video is not the music we made). Puckr was an adaptation of air hockey for the Reactable, and features different playing levels as the game advanced. The other sounds in this pack show an example of the music that was played for each level.
The music is generated using Pure Data, a software for music processing nerds. We defined a set of rules for the generation of notes and drum patterns and then the system does the rest automatically and creates an infinite stream of music. Here I just recorded a number of bars.
