This is a recording made back in 1981 onto open reel tape dubbed to TDK Metal cassette tape. Two condenser mikes resting in a partially open window to record storm.... luckily for me, the recording was enhanced by the sound of a passing fire engine... in fact two!Tho it was raining so hard, I think the fire was probably out before they got to the scene!

Have this as a background ambiance in one of my tracks. Very atmospheric and evocative; conjures up all kinds of great imagery. That 'old cassette' sound really works wonders here. Cheers.
