A warbler (unidentified) angrily screeches near the mics while perched on a Wild Olive tree; wing fluttering. Bee-eater, and stiff leaves moved by wind in background. Since the warbler was real close I added 6 dB to background, I think this helps to balance the huge dynamic range. Shure WL183 mics into Fel preamp, Edirol R09 recorder

    Yes, that spikes at 15 KHz... Now that I listen to it again, you are probably right, thanks.

    It's not a warbler. It's a very angry blue tit. You were probably rather closer to its nest hole than it appreciated.

    Great sound of the warbler - I reckon you should do a forum post asking our bird experts which warbler it is. Love the way the wind in the background balances out the sound too.
