Resonant call of a bird I couldn't see. Serin, Bunting, Bee-eater in background. EDIT: silly me, obviously the bird is a Golden Oriole, Oriolus oriolus.

Most if not all spring samples that year 2007 were recorded by me using Sennheiser ME66+MKH30 into Shure FP24, and Edirol R09 recorder

Record fine! It is very difficult to approach an oriole, she doesn't admit close and very well hides in foliage (no wonder that you didn't see it). Because of all this it is difficult to write down it. How to you it was allowed to make such pure record? What tools you used for record? I will be very grateful for the answer (better the personal letter).
Have a nice day!
