Night recording of ambiance at some distance of a channel in summer. You can hear the cricket chorus, frogs, and some dog barking. This sample is cleaner than channel01. Again, if you have the time, have a look at the spectral view of this sample: the night is full of sounds we cannot hear. Rode NT4, Shure FP24, iRiver H120(rockboxed). Near El Rocio, Huelva (Spain)

When I lived in the country I use to sit in my back yard and just hear the sounds of nature that was something similar to this, but its not the same sadly, but its better then the traffic and hocking and the wailing of the sirens I hear daily and nightly. I am going to play this on a loop at night to try and drown out the cars and honking. I wish I had a way to record the sound I remember from days of old. Thank you very much for this, you just might have saved my sanity.

Excellent sample. I like the quality and especially the content. There's snow on the ground where I live. I think I'll loop this a few times and maybe trick myself into thinking it's summer.
