Apparently for some species of Cricket you can get a rough estimate of the temperature by counting the chirps in a given space of time. Well it was 20 Celsius when this little beastie was recorded. Recording chain: Rode NT4 (Stereo mic, in Rode Blimp) - Edirol R44 digital recorder.
