It's raining and I have the recording rig under a large beach-umbrella. A female Riflebird wants to be fed some fruit and can be heard hopping about pestering and peeping. Recording chain: Audio Techinica AT3032 mics - Sound Devices MixPre - Edirol R09HR. Crater Lakes Rainforest Cottages

i made a track a year or so ago with this recording, and i'd always wondered what made those amazing little wooden sounding drops. very glad i rediscovered it, most inspiring bit of ambiance ever. going to test out as many umbrellas in the rain as i can this summer. i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
