>When it is played on my cheap wave editer I can hear nasty blip

Strange, what is the editor? Perhaps there is some data in the file that it is reacting to?

You've got a good idea.
It has a rich harmonic drag after the hit.
When it is played on my cheap wave editer, I can hear nasty blip at the first hit. However, when played on NI 'Battery,' this file sounds pretty much musical. It may turn to be one of my regular beat elements.
