A marching band in a small town parade along a tree-lined street. The band started their drum cadence when they were right next to me. The last of the band passes and I pan toward them as they head away from me. At about 25 seconds I begin walking beside them, slowly overtaking them (which takes a while, there are about 160 band members). At about 2:10 I have caught up to the front of the band and I stand still as the band goes past. At about 2:50 they begin their song medley again and they march off into the distance.

Adding sound effects to a storybook that I'm recording for my 4th graders that has a scene of a marching band in it. Gotta love this pandemic online teaching, lol. NOT! But cool sound clip at least:P

I will use this for a Red Ribbon Parade that occurred in the community and I don't have a clear band sound for it, so this is perfect. :) Thank you

Thanks for making this audio available under CC Attribution. I used it as the opening to an indie rock track I wrote and recorded: https://bkirwin.bandcamp.com/track/every-week
