Urban Birds

This was my first recording with my Zoom H4 portable recorder. I used the in-built cross-match stereo field mic's on the sennheiser setting. I love this little gadget, it's a gem!a group of about 20 seagulls just after I have shared a packet of chips with them...Note the constant nagging from a junior gull to it's parent to give it a feed; the shrill tones when one bird arches it's neck in order to stamp it's superiority over the others.I assume seagull language is pretty much the same all over the world?

Excellent sample, recorded with an excellent piece of equipment! Should have used the windshield, but the low frequencies caused by wind can be edited out.
