Large rock rolls down hill. Some scuffling sounds, sounds like Vintage, Optical, Rocks Rolling on a wooden floor into a bucket.
These are high-quality copies of Hollywood original optical and mag effects from the 1930s through the '60s, transferred to full-track tape by USC Cinema. I have digitized them for preservation, but they have not all been restored and may have some noise.

Sure, I'm so glad you like them. It really makes me happy that so many people are finding these sounds useful.
As for restoration, since these are from optical tracks, the main problem is usually broadband noise. The best tool is a noise-reduction app or plugin. I use iZotope's RX, but it's very pricey. But there are other cheaper ones out there. I believe some video editing apps even have them built in.
The other problem is usually clicks & pops. Honestly, the easiest, for something like these rocks, is to just cut out the click & do a little cross fade.
Hope this helps.

Hi, just wanted to take a minute to show my appreciation because I downloaded a bunch of your sounds and they are super high quality. Thanks for making all these available.
Also, based on your bio/experience, anything I should consider while attempting to restore these?
