Unprocessed wildtrack audio recorded with a Tascam DR-22WL with a Rycote softie on the ground in a woodland in North Somerset (Weston-super-Mare) in late winter. There was a strong wind in the canopy above, which was ebbing and flowing throughout the recording. Buds were just starting to burst on smaller tress and this was recorded at 11AM in the morning, during a lull while no visitors were walking through the area. The surrounding vegetation was mostly large beech trees, with undergrowth of ash and a very big holly bush, from which a European Robin (Erithacus rubecula) was singing. A pretty clean recording, if you're looking for something wind the sound of wind in it, but otherwise the wind is quite loud and might be distracting. A second version was recorded just after this, and is included in this same collection.
