Trying out new Sennheiser MKE 440 with windshield during a storm, attached to a Panasonic GH5s, in camera audio -12db to minimise pre-amp use, mic has +20db boost on - worked in that there's no clipping.
Took the audio only from the .mov file to make the clip.
This clip is the first half of a transition to indoor rain sound ('rain inside' is the other half).
Did add a limiter in case of transient peaks, no other effects.
