An early autumn morning in a settlement of Roma gypsies the Transsylvanian village of Țichindeal/Romania, basically just two mud roads with about 50 or so hovels in various states of disrepair.
The recorder is standing at the entrance to the settlement, children are shouting to each other, grown ups are going about their business, birds can be heard in the background, as well as a horse and some pigs grunting and squealing in a makeshift pigsty nearby. Someone trundles a hand cart by at the start of the recording.
Recorded with a Rode NT-SF1 and matrixed to stereo.
