An early autumn evening in a settlement of Roma gypsies the Transsylvanian village of Țichindeal/Romania, basically just two mud roads with about 50 or so hovels in various states of disrepair.
The recorder is standing at the entrance to the settlement, children are shouting to each other, grown ups are going about their business, someone is using a chainsaw in the far background, crows, roosters, dogs and pigeons can be heard in the background.
Recorded with a Rode NT-SF1 and matrixed to stereo.
