An early autumn morning in a settlement of Roma gypsies the Transsylvanian village of Țichindeal/Romania, basically just two mud roads with about 50 or so hovels in various states of disrepair.
The recorder is standing at the top of a hill on the outskirts of the settlement, while the villagers go about their business. Crows and jackdaws can be heard as a plane flies overhead.
Recorded with a Rode NT-SF1 and matrixed to stereo.
