Chimerae

This chimera combines the long-term spectrum of a harp with the temporal envelope of a clock ticking. In studies, listeners had a strong tendency to say it sounded more like the clock (temporal dominance)

I convolved the the temporal envelope of a clock ticking with the long-term spectrum of a harp. I believe I used the Matlab convolve() function. The code for doing this is stored on a backup drive somewhere, and I'm not in the US now, so that is all the info I can give you at this point, I'm really sorry. Look up information about the convolving process if you want to know more. I hope you liked the result!

I'm interested to know how you made this sample.
