Experimental noise synth made with ChucK Racks in Live 11. This is the dry instrument recording. I use an LSR (linear feedback shift register), designed it for white noise. About reading about the analog implementation of a LSR in the Roland TR 909 (using two 18-bit shift registers and XOR gate), I started thinking of the system like a karptlus strong algorithm. Instead of random seeds, I began with a register containing all 1's; the results were bonkers. I then added probability to elicit softer attacks, similar to a an impulse in the KP algorithm. WARNING VERY HARSH!
