Sound recorded in C/Hospital by the Museums team (Beatrice Behlen, Mizan Rambhoros, Carolina Vasilikou and Ilaria Sartori) during the fieldwork of the workshop AHRC Sensory Cities Network.
Description (by Carolina with comments by the rest of the team):
"People conversations were omnipresent. They weren't loud but they had a continuous presence. Moving onto the arch's space the acoustic changed entirely and sounds had more volume, were more rounded. When we went inside it seemed it would get more quiet if we went next to the statue... but to my mind it was more or less a constant sound level. Then I really loved the sound of the groud while walking. I saw the leaves moving and I thought they'd maybe make a sound but I couldn't hear it. I could hear the wind through the microphone but not without. We heard birds, bicycles, voices with different moods: when someone laughs it goes above everything".
