Sound recorded during the annual procession of Virgen del Carme, the fishermen's patrona. Here you can hear drums announcing the statue of the Virgin is about to exit St. Miquel church. When the Virgen del Carme is taken out, the crowd welcomes her with aplauses and exclamations ("viva!"). A man with megaphone opens the procession singing a religious hymn and animates the crowd with exclamations: "Viva la Virgen del Carmen! Viva la reina de los pescadores! Guapa!". Drums and brass instruments stand in front of the procession, leading the crowd towards Passeig Joan de Borbó (see more recordings in the same pack). July 8th 2015, Ilaria Sartori, Zoom H4n (procession in movement and recorder in movement).
