It all started when my boyfriend sent me a video titled "All Sorry Sound Effects" (https://youtu.be/JTN-eyJHx50) with this sound effect at the end. The confusion I felt stayed with me for days... weeks. It was eating me up inside I just had to figure what in gods name this was from and why it was made. I figured it had to make sense to someone. After looking around I found this page in the description, but my questions were not answered. Still confused, I looked up the word porygonised on google, yielding no results. It was not until my boyfriend brought up porygon being a pokemon which made sense considering the names nidorino and mudkip in this very files title. We did a google search for porygonised, this time including the words mudkip and nidoriono which led to a pokemon forum thread about the OCs of the users. In this forum thread a detailed list of characters from a user known as "The Name Master" which included a nidorino character who was strangely racist towards dragonites and had a quote in the description that fit the very sound file on this page. But my curiosity was not satiated. I needed more. It was obvious that this user had quite the lore for these character set up and ready to go for some storytelling method. So I'm left with the question: what was this commission used for? Was there a greater project that would use this sound file? While I am sure that anyone who is looking at this page right now is aware of the context and meaning, I, as an outside observer who has stumbled upon this corner of pokemon internet fandom, am curious. Please, if you, or anyone who is reading this, knows anything about what this is for, please do tell. :-)
