Shamung Floral Gardens June 2024
Taking a stroll through the Cosmic Floral Gardens of Shamung.
Sound samples were recorded with the help of "TriTops", a very large sculpture of a triceratops, located
at River Prairie Park, in Altoona Wisconsin.
The sculpture is really quite an accomplishment. Constructed using an auto undercarriage and lots of various other "Heavy Metal" parts, TriTops is BOSS!
It's G.O.A.T. Filled with endless audio recording experiments.
I recorded percussive hits at different places on the scupture,, using a diy contact mic.
This piece was composed using samples from that field trip.
