This siren whistle sound is often used as a comical cartoon sound effect where something is sent flying through the air. The acme siren is a chrome plated whistle that is often found in the percussion section of orchestras.
Recorded in my home studio using a Rode NT1A through a FocusRite Liquid Saffire preamp and ProTools 12.
