A two-tone doorbell with very long decay. 28 Apr 06. Sony MD and stereo mic. The door bell has two very long resonating metal tubes. The mic was between them. I visited a customer at this house and rang the bell. 60 seconds later, standing in her hall, it was still resonating. I said "can I come back and record your bell?" She thought I was mad, but agreed!

My father had a set of door chimes like these - I've inherited them, and they are now in my hallway. Fantastic!
Amazing sound ! What a profoundness. It makes your body vibrate with it.
