Remezcla Tu Ciudad Tegucigalpa

A person digs with a shovel in San Juancito, Honduras. In the late 19th century, it was one of the most important silver and gold mining centers in Central America, operated by a New York-based company.

Sound captured by Carlos Cruz in the sound related arts residence Remezcla Tu Ciudad in Tegucigalpa - Honduras, on November 2024. Remezcla tu ciudad (remix your city) is an Iberoamerican platform rethinking and analizing the places we inhabit through sound.
