Profit Zone (real name Patrick Cross) was born and raised in the Willow Springs neighborhood of Killeen, Tx.
Always having an ear for sound, he took on listening to all genres of music including the sounds of Texas Hip-Hop.
At a younger age, Profit Zone was in and out of juvenile correction facilities where he honed in on writing lyrics and developing
music concepts; finding ways to combine his catchy and relevant style to those he grew up listening to.
Houston, Tx artists such as Paul Wall, Devin The Dude, and Scarface being just a few of those who are "an inspiration " according to Profit Zone.
But in Killeen, a city with a reputation for its aspiring artists and performers, also homes many names coming out the city that played an inspirational role to PZ as he himself persued
to have his talents heard.
