Hundreds of European radio operators scramble over one another to make contact with an American radio operator during unusually good ionospheric conditions on the shortwave bands on a Saturday night. This extended clip contains crystal clear European voices, as recorded off the shortwave radio, in conversation with an American accented voice. Useful to soundscapes seeking electronic voices with European accents, static, tones and general radio noise. Of particular usefulness might be the occasional clarity of some of the European electronic voices due to the good propagation conditions. Also of note to sound engineers is the inducement of flanging in many of the voices due to natural conditions inherent to (multi-path / selective-fading) shortwave radio propagation.
