"Dreadful" is a dark and ultra-creepy bit of music I made for something called Victors Crypt.
My intention was to make a really spooky bit of instrumental music with a real dark and eerie atmosphere. I think very low pitched piano-keys sounds horrific and especially when the melody is in minor. So I started off with that. I added spooky whispers or very reverbed/roomy voices and made various spooky synth-sounds coming in and out. I also played a higher pitched melody on piano and added some strings further on.
It's a bit longer than many of my compositions just to make that creepy dark atmosphere really grow and evolve nicely.
This can fit perfect for anything scary, horrific, mysterious, odd, cool, strange, spacy or whatever your project needs.
