a handmade kevoy snare, recorded in stereo, on the left channel I copy
pasted a part of the [mid] attack, therefore that creates a 9 ms phase effect.
I used Multiband compressor on WaveLab to add 0.3 dBs gain for the bands
a. 87Hz-183Hz, b. 807Hz-6.3kHz / I also lowered 0.7 dBs the non-selected bands
then I used the simple [non-multiband] classic compressor
of WaveLab [used as hard compressor]
my WaveLab classic compressor parameters
a. Ceiling [gain compression] -0.48 dB
b. softness [smoothness of the effect] -5 [therefore hard comp]
c. out gain [make up gain] 0.00 dB [the point is to lower the snare a tiny bit
to allow parallel channels sound natural, but with that parameters I didn't affect the audibility of the sample
