This is a singing glass. 1. Hold the empty wine glass on a tabletop at the base of the stem with one hand.
2. Wet the index or middle finger of your other hand with some water.
3. Lightly rub your wet finger along the rim of the glass.
4. As you rub the glass, you will hear the "singing" sound of the glass. You may have to re-wet your finger periodically and/or adjust the pressure of your finger on the rim of the glass to keep producing the sound.
5. You can change the pitch of the sound by adding water to the glass. Minidisc.

I agree with Eyeris. I don't want to be mr negative but the noise in the background makes the sound unusuable in most cases. The sound would be great if it weren't for that.

man.... 90% of these samples are just noise with a touch of the described sound...
Thanks for the effort though, but you all should learn how to record something...
