Can't say I agree with Quargzon - any time noise is created by the expansion of any form of gases we essentially have an explosion. Light a box of matches and you get a miniature 'soft' explosion. Drop a match into a bucket with volatile vapours and you get a soft explosion. This is a really nice sound.
