Old and rusty metal gate that keeps staircase and the first floor apart. It is located in a four-story building, once serving as a shopping center. Very interesting and abundant sound.
Recorded with Zoom H4n. Please rate, comment and share. In case you download some of my sounds and use them in your audiovisual artwork, the only thing I ask from you is to let me know where and how they ended up. It would be a pleasure. Please feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions or suggestions. I really try to keep an open mind for everything. Thank you. Peace. Matt

Hi!
Thats a really effective sound, even if I dont used to a gate opening. I used in my short movie, and mentioned the source as well. Thanks! (here is the film, if you interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDVyx3lpFxE&feature;=channel_video_title

Hi Matt,
I don´t know yet wether I use this sound, but very clean detailed sound! and it is worth for a download.
I am downloading some sounds for my small private artworks; I involve these sounds as a kind of trigger in my tracks with hypnotic inductions; it is fascinating and exciting for me to find accustic sounds which I can combine with inner pictures; hahaha, now I am searching for a sound which can create the picture of wide and free landscape in my mind; I need the accustic aquivalent to an extended and widened VIEW, and the widened view is the aquivalent for a more openminded and more selfconfidental feeling or development, growing up of manpower; nice experiment to transfer accustic perceptions into an visual perception or inner picture of my inner landscape.
For example:Some days ago I used a slamming or falling-door-sound for final triggers in order to fall into a deep and healthy sleep. Peace, and thanks a lot. JO
