Mainz, it's probably the bit-depth not the bit-rate which is preventing you from playing this sample.
It's a 32 bit-depth WAV, most are 16 bit-depth bit, some software will only play 16 bit.
You can convert a 32 bit WAV to a 16 bit using an audio editor like Audacity (free).

good sound but bit rates too high for protools :'(
