A modified recording of Sweet Adeline by the Haydn quartet making it more atmospheric and distant. Also an attempt to remove some of the really nice fuzz (sorry).

Thanks for this wonderful recording. I am using it for a non-profit documentary about Corona. Your recording supports the pictures in their perplexity very much. Thanks!

Very good upload. With the treatment is has an eerie and dream-like quality and could accompany many different projects extremely well.

I don‘t know if you will find this comment, since the post is quite old. But because you wanted to hear what people have to say to your work, and I felt bad because nobody wrote a critique, here is what I think:

style:
- the „distance“ makes it sound realistic and as if it was a concert just a few years ago
- it also makes it much more emotional than the original (to me).
- I don‘t know why but the bass that was added (intentionally or not) also makes it sound more.. its hard to describe, in german I‘d say (roughly translated) „meaningful“
- the instruments sound more nice due to the tone (probably the light echo-y effect)
-> also the song sounds a little slower than the original (but I am not sure if it actually is), which makes you want to slowly move with it, as if it were a really emotional opera

use:
- I think it could be used very well for a mystic horror game (e.g. in a hospital hallway with bad lightning and one open door at the end)
- it would be perfect for a dystopian movie (e.g. a dark, but big city where in the evening hours/curfew the people can fall to sleep with that song)
-> it would thus also fit well in a post-apocalyptic setting (e.g. like the example before, but with destroyed buildings and one gramophone playing somewhere in the distance)

But since I am too lazy to write a book or make a game, and too poor and young to make a movie, I can‘t use it for that.
To be honest I am just listening to it as if it was a normal mp3 on my computer.
