This is the Freesound.org page for Matthew Clark, a sound designer, producer & DJ based in South West Scotland. I have been producing chiptune and 8-bit music using Famitracker and ModPlug Tracker since around 2009 and I have been a user of Renoise and Reaper since 2010, when I began to focus more attention on producing electronic dance music of many varieties.

As a result of studying a course that featured aspects of sound design at Glasgow Caledonian University between 2011 and 2013 I began to examine many unusual recording techniques in my own time and frequently tried to work out how sound effects in TV shows, films, games and pieces of music were made. This is my primary interest and, when opportunities arise, I love helping people to create sounds for use in short films and audio productions of their own. Most recently, through online tutorials & live-streaming, I have been able to transfer the skills and techniques I possess onto other producers. My own productions continue to see release on underground music communities online and in the UK.
