Thanks for the kind words! In general it's a bit tricky with the preamp of the H4, but I have figured out that it mainly depends on the kind of cable being used together with the piezos. Microphone cable for example seems to narrow down the area to closely around the pickup, while cable which is 'normally' used for simple power connections, widens the area. The disadvantage of the latter is its sensitivity to any kind of contact. Well, and then you need of course the ‘right’ trees! ;D
