20 December 2009 - At the metal artist Sullivan Walsh's workshop in Brooklyn ( http://www.walshmetalworks.com/ ), striking a size A oxygen cylinder ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_cylinder#Sizes ) with a steel hammer, creating a church bell-type sound, take 5. The basement workshop featured constant sounds of building plumbing and such. I filtered out as much of them as I could, but some white noise is still present. I layered two takes together to make a better sound. Recorded with Shure Beta 58A, M-Audio Firewire 410 sound card and 13 inch Macbook with Garageband, and edited with Garageband.
