This storm took me by surprise. It started out as a quite distant thunderstorm, with a base reflectivity of 66dbz, however as it moved closer it grew in intensity. You will hear a quiet peace for about 5 minutes. Then, the thunder starts getting louder. I have another surprise though, almost at the end of this recording, a small f0 tornado passes by, just 500 meters from my house. You can hear it wooshing just before the hail starts to fall. Tornadoes are a verry rare event in South Africa. Please comment if you like it. Recorder used Zoom h1 internal microphones. The peak intensity of this storm was 75dbz
