Recorded in a field in the village of Crawley Down, this nasty storm resulted from a cold front passing East as the storms moved North East. I was not expecting the thunder to get as close as it did, so the mic amp was turned up a bit to high and as a result some clipping occurred. Recorded on the internal mics, with the original foam wind shield & dead cat. Just before the first close strike, you can hear a click in the right hand channel. This was the over head power line " flashing over" as the lighting struck it.

The sound was exactly what I was looking for. The thunderclap is great! Thank you.
I have credited you in the credits (at the end).
