Taishōgoto? Taisho koto? Nardan harp? Keyboard-koto? Typewriter-koto? Nagoya Harp? Banjo-keyboard? Bul-bul-tarang? Indian banjo? Japan Banjo? Benju? Akkordolia? Kottafoshi? Medolin?
The father of a Japanese friend of mine bought this instrument for cheap in a local thrift shop. I didn't know of its existence. I believe it's supposed to be a keyboard version of the strummed (plectrum) Japanese koto. For some reason it felt more indian than Japanese to me, or middle eastern, probably because of the drone-string.
