On April 4, 2017, the water main in front of my partner's apartment and my studio broke. While I was working on mixing a song in my studio I heard, almost FELT, a massive sound coming from outside. Lots of bass. It was such a cool sound that I just HAD to capture it. It was a "tamper," a tractor that was tamping the ground back down after the line had been repaired and the hole filled in.
I got two recordings of it; this is the second one. This recording has less bass and more of the mechanical sounds of the tamper itself.
