We were having a major blizzard here in Cape Breton on March 5, 2016. I was lying in bed at my studio and the wind was howling against the window. As I listened to that I said to myself, "Wow, my window makes a really cool wind howling sound; that'd make a great storm sound effect."
A moment later, when I realized what I'd just said, I was scrambling for my phone and microphone... ;)
