20 Brass-Instrument Makers are working in the old Manufactory "Gebr. Alexander" in Mainz
The instrument maker Franz Ambros Alexander arrived 1782 to Mainz, the Gutenberg-famous city on the Rhine. He was in the craft guild, and founded a construction company to fine musical instruments. Until today - more than 250 years later - is this company under the name Alexander in possession and under the leadership of the descendants of the founder.
