Every year, on the first Sunday of May, we celebrate the international dawn chorus day.
This year it was on the 3rd of May 2020.
Dawn chorus is the Spring song of birds during sunrise.
This recording started at 5 in the morning and ended at 8.
The sunrise time was at 6:05.
I wanted to make a recording at the international dawn chorus day for many years, but I didn't manage to wake up in time.
The recording starts with some roosters, a collared dove and some barn swallows.
After approximately 30 minutes, some great tits join the chorus.
Then after 10 minutes, we have got the waking up of house sparrows and house martins.
Also throughout the recording you can hear some light traffic noise, some dogs and a church bell far away.
I used a nokia 6.1 mobile phone to produce this recording.
I hope you enjoy it.
