During July and August, the sound of the cicadas is very common in Cyprus and any other countries where the Summers are hot.
They start singing from sunrise and they stop after sunset.
In places where there are a lot of people such as open restaurants and cafes and there are lights on, they could sing until midnight.
Recorded on Friday 24th of July at about 4 o'clock.
I used my nexus5 phone for this recording.
