Sound of a generic 166cc knockoff honda lawnmower starting, pulling cord, running.
Governed at 3000 RPM.
If it sounds weird - i can definitely say that you're not wrong considering it has been ran with barely any oil for the past few years before i got it. I was able to make a new crankcase gasket and it does not leak oil anymore. I also did some carburetor adjustments. This sound was recorded before all this, while the crankcase gasket was still blown (early august 2024, repairs finished ~late august). Bought brand new in ~2011, amazing that it has survived for over 13 years.
I may record another sound with this same mower in spring 2025 when i will need to use it again (currently sits without fuel in my garage since 3 months ago.)
