Stereo ambience of people applauding at the end of an open air concert by the Berlin Philharmonics. Unfortunately, I arrived too late to catch the beginning of the applause, but hey, better than nothing :)
I was standing on a concrete block a little bit above the audience but still pretty close, maybe 6 meters away from the nearest person.
The concert took place at the Kulturforum, a large open concrete space next to the Berlin Philharmonic Hall.
It's a warm summer evening. After the applause, everybody starts leaving the place, maybe about 1000-1500 people.
The crowd is generally in a happy and talkative mood. There are lots of international folks and tourists, so you'll not only hear German, but also English and lots of other languages.
Recorded with a Zoom H6 (XY mics).
In the same pack there is also a second recording made a bit later with more people passing by and talking. It can be found here

Many thanks for this great applause sound which turned out perfect for my animation about Bach. I hope that you like what I've done with it.
Credits in the end titles. ;-)
