At Labrang Monastery, in Xiahe, Northeast of Amdo province, in Tibet -after the Chinese occupation, the town, Xiahe, is now part of Gansu province-, at least 200 Buddhist monks make the call to prayer. You will hear around minute 1, and then after two more minutes, a particular howling. Because this is a ceremony open to the public, there are some voices around, mostly Mandarin speakers. Recorded in March 2017.
